Acceptance

By creating an account or using BrightStep, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and the parent or legal guardian of any child you add. The account is for your family's personal, non-commercial educational use.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login and parent PIN confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

The service

BrightStep provides supplemental learning activities. It is a study aid, not a substitute for a full curriculum or professional instruction, and we do not guarantee any particular educational outcome.

Beta & billing

BrightStep is a paid subscription: $25 per month or $250 per year. Every new account begins with a 7-day free trial. You are not charged until the trial ends, and cancelling before then costs you nothing. One subscription covers every child in your family. You can cancel at any time from the parent dashboard; access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for. Prices may change with notice.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no attempting to access other families' data, disrupt the service, reverse engineer it, or use it unlawfully.

Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BrightStep and its operators are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for conduct that violates these Terms.
