The 150-day prize, and what counts as a full day
For the parent whose child just asked what the box at the bottom of the store is.
What the box is
At the bottom of the store is the "Year-End Mystery Box". Its price isn't in stars. It unlocks at 150 full days, and the store says so: it "cannot be bought, only finished". A child with a million stars and 149 full days doesn't have it.
It's a real, physical thing we send, and we keep the contents a surprise on purpose. That's the point of a mystery box.
What a full day is
All six subjects finished on the same calendar day. Not six subjects across two days, and not the same subject done three times. The home page bar labeled "Today's goal" shows the count. When it reads 6 of 6, that day counts, the app tells them great job and to go play, and their full-day total goes up by one.
Full days are the honest measure. Stars can be farmed from whichever subject a child finds easiest. A full day can't be. That's why the bigger rewards ask for full days on top of stars.
Watching the count
In the store, the box shows the child's progress as a number out of 150 and a bar. On your dashboard, each child's "full days" total sits with their streak and lifetime stars. 150 full days is most of a school year of showing up. It's meant to take a while.
When they get there
- The box changes to say "You finished the year" and shows a "Claim" button. They tap it once. It becomes "Claimed".
- The claim shows up on your dashboard under "Reward requests". Approve it.

Common questions
Does a day count if they finished at 11:58pm?
Yes, if all six were done before midnight in your local time. The day is the calendar day on the device.
Do missed days reset the 150?
No. Full days only ever add up. The streak resets when a day is missed. The full-day count doesn't.
Is there one per child?
Yes. Each child earns their own, at their own 150.
